Sorry for the delay in posting. It has been crazy this week with the amount of papers we have been sending home and the dates that were still TBD. Here is the spark notes version of the week:

In Class:

Math – we are finishing graphing and mean, median and mode. We started on polygons today and I plan on working on them until next Friday. No quizzes this week.

Reading – “The Mysterious Tadpole” (pg 380+) and it’s vocab will be quizzed on Friday.

Spelling – The list is in the planners and page 160 of the spelling workbook. Test Friday.

Religion – We are learning about the church calendar of events and the parts of the mass. No Quizzes.

Dates to Know:

The last day of the book fair is Thursday. Our time is 130pm if you would like to be there.

Spring pictures are tomorrow and Friday. Individual pictures are tomorrow at 915am and group pictures are at 930am

Information about our class field trip to Stonewall Lake will be going home this week.  The trip is on Friday, May 10.  Students may dress down that day.  We will go by bus, leaving the school at 9:30 and returning by 2:30.  Parents may sign their child out at the end of the field trip if they wish.  Students and parents are to bring a sack lunch. The cost will be $10 per person. (students and parents)

The “communication survey” results have come home (Tuesday) and as a result the website is getting an overhaul to better suit our community needs.

May 8th Dr. Scheu will be holding a meeting for the results of the Terra Nova tests for anyone that is interested. It will be in the cafeteria from 6pm-7pm. The point of this meeting is to help teach parents how to pick out the important information from the huge amount of data that is given for each individual child.
